Bass fishing tips for Lake Guntersville (Alabama) in mid-October? For those that are not familiar with it, Lake Guntersville is located in northern Alabama on the Tennessee River. It is the fifth largest man-made lake in the world, at about 65,000 square acres. I visit Lake Guntersville several times each year during the spring and summer to go bass fishing with friends but generally not in the late-fall or winter. Do you have any tips for bass fishing the lake or Tennessee river in mid-October or November? Suggestions on where to fish (type of structure, creek/tributary, GPS coordinates, etc)? How about what to fish with or your most effective tactics? Our group for this next trip will have two boats with trailers, so we can put in just about anywhere in the lake. I've never fished the dam either and was thinking about giving that a try?

Any Largemouth Bass fishing tips in a Florida Lake? I live on a large lake in Florida and I fish a lot on it but am not catching a lot of bass ill catch one or two one pound or two pounders but nothing bigger than that in a while. Any tips on bait, time of day, where to look for them? How do I know if theres bigger ones? lots of questions just try to help me out please. Well I have been using Gulp worms with the bullet weight and occasionally been trying some spinnerbaits but I guess I should try a larger lure. I do have a boat but maybe I should try out those deep spots more. Theres one spot in the lake where it goe from about 7 feet to 18 feet so I will try it out there.
Does anybody have any good fishing tips for bass? I'm in a fishing derby for bass and Ive got coompetition. Every year I always get a prize winning fish but at the last minute, someone gets a fish a couple oz over me. I'm starting to get sick of it. I know derbies are for fun and I respect that but this year I want to come on top! Please help me!

Thanks and Fish On! <'}}}>< Stan T may just get best answer for his source! whats noodling? oh and ill keep you posted "stop makin cents". just found out what noodling is, screw that! wow, what a day. we got there and right of the bat i cought a bass about a pound on a frog colored Zara Spook that i threw into some cover. that fish got tangled in the weeds so i had to walk in the water to get it, not realizing my ipod was in my pocket. so thats done. then it starts to get hot and the bite slows down. the fish sstart jumping everywhere eating the dragon flys, but wouldnt touch our top water lures. then my cousin lost 5 lures of mine, which he will replace, one of those was a frog lure that flew off when he casted, he was going to swim and get it, then a bass came and took it! that was funny! then as we were leaving this dirt road he was doing dounuts in the dirt, lost control and slamed into some wooden posts with his p.o.s. ford tourus. and that was the end of our day!

Smallmouth and Largemouth bass fishing in lake. First timer tips? Hooksize, tackle, baits? This is my first time fishing in a lake and i heard there are smallmouth and largemouth bass in the lake. Any tips? Also what size hook should i use and what type of bait? I have the "fake worms" with all sorts of colors and and some sort of bait that has the fuzzy part of a spinner bait but just a hook on the end no spinner. HELP!

Bass fishing help? Ok, I catch bass pretty good on frogs, and buzz bait, and spinners. I love to use minnows pretty often, but their too expensive for all the time fishing so I usually just use artificial. My question is.... What color bait do you use during the day, and what color at night? I heard lighter during the day, darker at night but I dont know. Bass fishing tips would be helpful! Thanks!

pond fishing....bass, blue gill, ect.. some tips? my friends and i have been trying to catch A fish for the past couple days and we cant seem to do it. Fishing tips for cloudy weather? I live in texas and fish on lake conroe. Im going to be doing some bass fishing tomorrow morning at sunrise and was wondering if anyone has some cloudy weather fishing tips (the fish are in the shallows now spawning-dont worry...I catch and release). In early morning I usually fish with a buzzbait over and around the "nesting grounds" and then switch to a spinner when the fishing slows down. Ive come to find that fish can sometimes be a little bit more weary on cloudy days...any advice???

How do you correct backlashes using a baitcasting reel for bass fishing? Realizing that some backlashes are gonna occur regardless,I would like to know how to do away with the annoyance of most.Particularly when changing lure size or simply casting into a prevailing wind.I've been using these reels for a few years but can't seem to overcome this problem and would very much appreciate any" tips "to help avoid this pesty problem as much as possible so the frustration level can be dealt with a bit better and to make my fishing time on the water a more enjoyable experience. fishing....tips? Okay so I go fishing alot and I never catch anything unless luck comes my way.... Sometimes I fish for bass, some times I fish for crappy or bluegill. Just catching something good in size without needing expensive lures and equipment is fun. I usually keep getting snagged on the bottom of the creek. The creek I fish as is full of bass, crappy, and bluegill...but rarely do I pull anything out or get any bites. Sometimes I would catch a few good 10 -14 inch bass. But that's rarely....I want to bring home the big ones! Any tips on bait and fishing techniques to not get snagged at the bottom of rocks and such? Any tips to using certain types of lures and baits? I try not to use expensive lures because of the snagging. I use 15lb test line and a good size hook, not sure the size but it's a good size to pull in big bass..if I would ever get a chance to hook a big one. Sometimes I would use smaller size hooks and different bait for crappy..no luck with either fish types really.. for bluegills I would use wax worms, and regular night crawler worms. For bass I would use 10 inch long powerbait lures...I've used light and dark colored ones. I've tried a few spinners. I've tried using different types of rubber jiggs. Maybe my sinker and hook set up is wrong?...could that be the cause for snagging and not getting any fish? Could setting the sinkers wrong be a factor? Sometimes I stand on the docks, some times I stand in the bushes area where the land leads out to the deep end of the creek. Sometimes there's shadows, sometimes there's not.
i need some fishing tips on a pond? I am not a begginer fishermen but for some reason at this small pond i fish (mostly for bass) latley i ahven't cought anything. by lately i mean the last 2 years. Before that i atleast caught 1 every week or 2. my question is what kind of bait and or fishing gear should i use for this? it is a VERY weedy, slightly murky, no tree overhangage, there is a spot with lillies but i ahven't had succes there ever. I need some fishing tips.? Well me and my boyfriend about every weekend we go fishing and we always catch these little brim but the bass in the lake seem to not want the worms or the bread i put on the hook. What do you think the best option for catching the bigs ones would be because its kind of a competition between me and him lol im always trying to catch them but neither one of can. by the way. the brim are too big for these bass. these bass are pretty big but i dont think they could eat the little brim. This lake is semi-big but the bass seem to stay near the shore. i can see them and they just sit there and i throw the bait out and they still dont touch it.
