Do you enjoy fly fishing? Where do you go? Get anything good?

Yes, it bring a more "active" level to the fishing sport. I fish all over the lower peninsula of Michigan. Each location has it's challenges and rewards. I spend a lot of time just fishing a local lake for pan fish and bass.
It would help a lot to know where you're talking about! I live in So west Mich and there's a boat load of places to fly-fish here. My favorite is the Pere Marquette River from Baldwin to Luddington. There are plenty of places you can rent a canoe or just use a float tube. There is a section from M-37 Bridge (Baldwin) to Gleason's Landing that is flies only AND catch & release. Lots of good holes that fish try to hide in.
Any chance to go fishing,no matter the method,I enjoy! Fly fishing being one of them.Just this past weekend,I had the opportunity to try my hand at it at my friends lake.I need more practice & it's definitely different than regular angling but not as hard as what I anticipated it to be.Besides getting a good workout lol, we got some Bluegill & Bass (though I would've loved to have caught the huge Carp that's there) & the pics too! I will be doing it again next weekend if not sooner.
