did sage -- make one fishing rod -- for both fly and spin casting?

1. Sage does not make anything but fly fishing rods........see the website below. They are some high-end poles that range from $250 - over $700.
2. That is an interesting question, did Sage ever make a combination spinning/fly fishing rod. I remember from back in the dark ages of fishing, some companies did make such creatures. I have a very old bamboo combination outfit. It is a pathetic fly rod and not much of a spinning rod. I called Sage and talked to one of their technicians. She said that back in 1983, SAGE did in fact make a combination spinning/fly rod. It was called the SFS model. They only made it for that one year. However, they always have made 4 models of spinning rods, but to see them you have to go to their Sage Gear Rod website. They make 4 series of spinning rods: CT; CP; SP; SA. I also thought they had stopped making spinning rods since you don't see it on their fly fishing web site, but I guess they decided to keep the two separate.
