I have 2 paintings I bought at a yard sale from some nuns--and they fishing boats scenes signed by Marc-do u?

u know where I could research --know they were bought around 1923 in NJ and was hoping they wwere Marc Chagall or Franz Marc?????/

1. You'd be very lucky to get hold of either Franz Marc or Chagall at a yard sale!!! It's unlikely they're original, ...even if nuns sold them!!! There are many reproductions out there... great copies of originals or even amatures having a go at there favourite pics. Supply some pics for verification is the best bet
2. They are just paintings by an unknown artist. They're not by anyone famous. If you like them, keep them. If you dont, try and sell them on ebay for a few bucks. You have not discovered unknown masterworks, trust me.
