How do I get REAL emarketing advice that isn't another sales scam? How do I tell the difference?
There seems to be a lot of junk advice out there, and most is geared to get me to leave my money. Some scams promise thousands of hits for a few bucks, but have robots hit your site, or hits from countries that don't do me any good. I need REAL marketing advice for REAL avenues for me to pursue that REALLY work. website to promo: www.fly-fishing-flies.com

- If you want real emarketing advice, I suggest go to Webmasterworld.com http://www.webmasterworld.com . They have sections on ecommerce, doing business on the web, affiliate marketing, Google search, Yahoo search, and others. Posters there cannot use sig files; and posts advertising businesses are immediately deleted. Posters are not even allowed to endorse any businesses and questions like "What is the best tool to..." are discouraged to prevent people from spamming the boards with their advertisement. So the only posts you'll get are advice and answers to your questions. And they have lots of experts in there; and companies such as Google has people there to answer questions pertaining to their company. Since you are also in ecommerce, I suggest subscribing to Internet Retailer magazine http://www.internetretailer.com which has loads of information on how to improve conversion rates, advertising an ecommerce site, and ideas on what works in the ecommerce field.
