Fishing Q&A

Fishing Trip Or Summer School?

I'm a self-sufficient full-time college student (meaning I don't rely on parents to pay my bills). I currently attend a community college and am trying to finish up my G.E.s there so that I can transfer to a university asap (before my savings runs out). I was planning on going to summer school after this semester, but my father has asked me if I'd like to fly out to Montana for an all expenses paid week-long fishing trip. Life is short, and time with family is valuable. However, the trip would conflict with summer school. What should I do?

  1. I'm an educator and an avid fisherman at the same time. This makes it hard to answer your question. But I would go to an all expense paid fishing trip if I were you. After all, it's summer school. I would have a different answer if it was a regular semester. Fish On!
  2. FISH, PLEASE DO IT FOR ME. OR ASK DAD IF I COULD GO.
  3. the fishing trip would be nice. not only that it is all expense paid, you can also get a chance to spend a time with your family. i know you mentioned that you are rushing to finish your studies, but you can catch up later on.
  4. In my opinion, he should prefer to attend summer school instead of flying out to Montana. Having fun could be allotted some other time. Also, having family voyage can be done in other moment. Finishing his G.E.s is much significant. In addition, he's been looking up on transferring to a university before his savings would run out. So, it is better to attend summer school, hence he would end up going to the university he has been revering.
  5. Can you take an on-line version of the class? How hard is the class? Can you miss the class but get the work done on the trip? One me says get the classes done, but in the last three years i've had friends and relatives in the 45-55 age that have died or come close. Their kids have been your age. I'm sure they would say go on the trip. Can you get the class or classes at another school that meet in a different group of weeks and just transfer those when you trasfer to the university? Good Luck with your decision. -Wife and Mom of fishermen : - )
  6. All expense paid fishing trip to montana with family. No brainer in my book . Spend the time with your dad. Mine passed away 3 years ago today and was my best fishing buddy. Time is short so spend it wisely. delaying school 1 semester isnt a high price to pay for quality time with a loved one. Especially when it come to fishing :) http://usedfishinggear.info
