  1. ttfn yourself.
  2. That's a good set up, firstly ensure that the reel fits the reel seat on the rod tightly and correctly, for line you should use Grey's GRXI, its at a reasonable price in the UK and is of high quality, the line is the most important thing, so don't buy the cheapest you can find you can get it here http://www.fishingmegastore.com/acatalog/Greys_Fly_Lines.html (scroll down) You can get this exact same line for cheaper from an on-line company called the fisherman's tackle company, just search for it and find the line. For the line you buy i suggest you buy a floating and a intermediate line, the intermediate will help you reach fish feeding closer to the bottom. Go with the line from FMTC because you will get a free braided loop to which you can attach your tippet then your fly. You also get free backing from the fisherman's tackle company, this saves you allot since you're just starting out http://www.fmtc.co.uk/ You will need tippet material to attach you're fly to, although its expensive its the cheapest around on this site http://www.harrissportsmail.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=13734 (get the 10lb breaking strain) For flies you need only a few to start you out, try fastmail, for flies, you need a few dries and nymphs and also some lures in case the fish are feeding on fry etc http://www.fastmailtackle.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=110&products_id=2854 Other things that might be of help to you are http://www.sexyloops.com/flycasting/contents.shtml (dont let the name put you off it is fly fishing info) Knots http://www.animatedknots.com/indexfishing.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com
