Hi can anyone tell me if Padre Island is better than Galveston....?
I am planning a trip in September, I have been to Galveston many times but never Padre Island. Someone said it was better so I am asking. I am more of the laid back relax vacationer however a little deep sea fishing and other excursions are ok. Which is better?

- Padre Island is nicer than Galveston, especially the further south you go. It's also better for deep sea fishing. Padre Island is also away from the city, so it's more relaxing.
- WE go to port aransas which is near padre.We love it. Check it out.They have small quaint motels as well as condos.Good food and good fishing.
