Need help finding a deep sea fishing boat in Surfside, Freeport or Galveston areas in Texas .. (read more) ...
All companies I have found offer full charter services, but I do not need that - I just want to take my boyfriend deep sea fishing for either a half-day or full-day trip, but would like to find a boat that offers individual "tickets" instead of chartering the entire boat. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

- Williams Party Boats Inc. Haven't been out with them in years but John, Tony and all them guys there are great. They use the Texan 2 for jetty trips or near shore and I think they have a newer big cat now. They are at pier 19 in Galveston TX. I did a serch on Williams Party Boat and found a sight the new big cat is Capt. John it looks great. I just don't know how to paste the page over.
- Here you go:: http://www.gcoafishing.com/services.htm Theres not many bigger boats left that are offering single tickets anymore. I fished the Freeport area for over 30 yrs and use to have several charters to choose from.Everybody wants the boats daily rate nowadays. I think these guys are still reasonable as well. August is nice and flat in the Gulf. That makes it nice when nobody is getting seasick around you.lol 40yr exp
- I used a good boat out of Freeport during snapper season and had a blast. It was a public charter at (around) one hundred bucks a head. I can't be sure that they still offer the same deals, but you should check it out - it was a great 12 hour trip, and you can opt for a longer trip if you like. http://www.underwaterexpeditions.com/fishing.html I used the Big E, which is a fantastic boat. It's pretty large, and it's about the fastest charter boat I've been on. A faster boat is always good news, because time spent traveling is time you won't be fishing. They've even got a pretty posh interior with a movie screen, so you can sit back if - for some crazy reason - you get sick of fishing. Less expensive charters go out on the Capt. Casey, their smaller boat. I haven't gone out on this one, but I'd imagine the captain is just as good.
