  1. This is one of the best. Sexyloops Flycasting website: http://www.sexyloops.com/flycasting/contents.shtml If you are wanting some good instruction on fly fishing and don't know of anyone firsthand that is able to give you the necessary pointers to get you started you might look into taking a flyfishing course at a local community college. Many offer these courses for a very reasonable fee.
  2. Just looking for information? You can find more information that anyone thought possible by searching the net. If you want to learn to fly fish... go local. Fly fishing is an art in more ways than one. Find a local shop which sells fly fishing gear. Avoid chain stores. These local shops will either offer instructions or can point you towards local fly fishing groups. Either way, this gets you towards some one-on-one advice which is really the only way to get anywhere without ending up frustrated. EDIT - (to exert-7) Didn't know about that site... looks good and an excellent place to start. I'd still say going local is the best... nothing like hands-on.

  5. I really like: http://www.flyanglersonline.com/ I think it's the best resource and they have a live chat area so you can have your questions answered pretty much right on the spot. - STB
