Anyone heard of renting outboard boat motors only?

I'm going on a fishing/camping trip and need an extra boat motor, but obviously they are fairly expensive, even used ones. I am curious to see if anyone has heard of marinas or motor sports stores RENTING outboard motors. The trip will be in northern Michigan. Thanks.

1. i've never heard of renting boat motors but yeah you can ask a marina they might have a couple laying around they might charge it like renting a boat.
2. Most Marinas rent boats, you may want to just count on renting a boat and motor and not fooling with hauling your own boat to your location.
3. I agree with Chris N. However I must say I don't think you're looking for used motors hard enough. I found a 5 year old Merc. outboard for $150.00! Check out garage sales, news papers, flea markets and the net. I'm sure you'll be able to find something. But Like Chris said just rent a boat if you can't get a motor for yours. Good Luck!
