  1. topwater
  2. use a popper or a frog plastic worms also
  3. No crawfish? Well if I were you I would assume the bass ate them all and offer them a nice juicy plastic craw rigged Florida style (which is simply a Texas rigged soft plastic with the weight pegged in place or used with a screw-in type bullet worm weight). One of my favorites is made by Gene Larew, It looks like this: http://www.genelarew.com/SaltCraws/4saltcraw.html You may also consider a Purple or Blue Culprit worm (rigged as mentioned above). Thanks for being a true sport in your fishing and NOT using live bait!
  4. hmmm. I'm suprised you believe there are no crawfish in your lake....I was of the opinion that along with trout and shad..crawdads were the main forage food of bass. At first I was tempted to say topwater becasue of the weeds and actually small amount of lillypads...but I'm leaning toward jigs.....but they imitate crawfish so.......I'm not sure. Maybe something that imitates your shiners.
