what kind of fishing knot do you use to snag paddlefish?

2. it's best to ask somebody to show you while you are there. pay close attention and do not take any shortcuts. when i started i was missing one loop somewhere and then i hooked a big one below the Fred Robinson bridge and when he swam away the treble hook slid down to the line and and i lost the fish. double check all your knots the first day you fish every season because one little mistake and you lose the paddlefish of a lifetime.
3. First off.. Check your local fishing regulations. Is it legal to snag a fish. Were I live live it is illegal. Make sure it IS legal first. Second off I have snagged fished before out of state. Third off get a treble hook that you think will be the right size for the size of the fish you want. Fourth off know that you have a hook, tie a five under knot. They are the best ones to tie.
