Waders for Fishing CO. rivers?
I'm just getting geared up for my first fly fishing experience and I'm want to know what type of waders I should buy for fishing on the rivers of Colorado's western slope (Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, etc.)?

- i would get a pair of chest waders and the color is up to you...
- Try the new Bone Dry 3-D camo chest waders from red head. I got the 3 mil neopreme at Bass Pro Shops for around $100.00 and I love them. The camo pattern is awesome for getting close to fish.
- Chest waders for sure and maybe insulated in CO rivers.
- go with chest waders, especially the breathable kind. can get very hot out there, and you can always layer with insulation if its cold. neoprene is great for colder deeper wading, but the rest of the time you are wearing a sauna! try to get a pair with gravel guards built in to keep rocks and sand out of your boots, and to keep the laces from getting snagged. I just came back from there, and my Hodgeman breathable waders did well. Good luck!
