Fishing tips for cloudy weather?

I live in texas and fish on lake conroe. Im going to be doing some bass fishing tomorrow morning at sunrise and was wondering if anyone has some cloudy weather fishing tips (the fish are in the shallows now spawning-dont worry...I catch and release). In early morning I usually fish with a buzzbait over and around the "nesting grounds" and then switch to a spinner when the fishing slows down. Ive come to find that fish can sometimes be a little bit more weary on cloudy days...any advice???

1. When you find yearling bass in the shallows then it is time to fish the dropoffs. good advice given to me by an expert is "don't fish where they ain't"
2. You are probably using the wrong color lure. There is an old adage to follow about fishing on cloudy days and then on sunny days. Generally speaking, the darker the day, the darker the lure. The lighter the day, the lighter the lure.. Hope that helps clear the muddy waters....
3. Tube baits, and lizards work great for bedding bass. Use natural colors in cloudy weather. With the clouds It will be very hard to see the beds, so I would suggest backking off the banks and fishing drop offs near bedding areas. with a texas rigged lizard, I would suggest Junebug for the color. If the sun pokes out switch to a tube bait, and get your polarized sunglasses on and look for beds.. Sight fishing is a blast. Flip the tube just past the bed, and slowly work it on to the bed and just leave it there barely moving it. The bass will likely leave, but just be patient. The fish will come back, and be rather upset. This is when you can expect the strike. Have fun it's a great time to be a firsherman here in TX.
4. Lizards are always very nice to use around the spawning beds because they really irritate the nesting fish. I have had great success using as little weight as possible to finesse the presentation. Good luck!
