  1. There is a good web site for your needs. www.hawghunterguideservice.com Once you get there I believe it is number 3 on the list. Fishing reports. I've used there site several times free and up to date. Good luck and keep your line wet.
  2. Stuart is a little far north for peacock bass because of the cooler weather during the winter. The best peacock fishing is in the canals in Broward and Dade county. I catch them mostly on rapalas and silver with a black back seems to work best. I've also had luck with zara spooks and torpedos. Come on down and catch some in the canal behind my house. Nice sailfish by the way.
  3. As Gene mentioned, Broward and Dade counties are the spots for peacocks. Closest to you would probably be Pompano Canal. Your preferred minnow imitation (hard body, plastic, fly, etc) is a best bet for fishing them. They tend to be a bit more territorially aggressive than largemouth, but fishing techniques should be pretty much the same. The link below takes you to a short story about my experiences fly fishing Miami for peacocks. Tight lines! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/features/readerscast/rc226.html
