- if the water is clear, which by the way you described it, it should have fish in it
- sure its loaded bring all your gear there is great fishing to be had
- When I hear the word spring I think of ponds that livestock use for waterin', so that's tellin' me if there be fish, then someone has to have stocked it. Ha', I could be wayyy out in left field usin' a first baseman's mitt, so I can stand ta' be corrected ~ I'm always up for constructive criticism ;)...
- Springs are freezing cold and bass get real slow to react in cold water. Further, springs usually don't have much cover and the clear water doesn't help their situation much either. Bass like to wait hidden by structure such as weeds or fallen trees to ambush food, and a spring is not their ideal place to be. You might find a bass in the spring, but it wouldn't be where I would go if I were looking for them. However, there may be some good spots just outside of the springs, which are going to be feeding some kind of river or other body of water more attractive to bass. - springs remain a constant temperature, so they are freezing cold in summer, but in winter they seem so much warmer, fishing will be great any time of year
