- i like the summer but then i'm in canada
- Springtime is always the best time to fish. When the water starts to warm up alittle around 60. Your bigger fish will always come in the spring. I fish the bottom mid top and middle all the time it does matter to me what time of the year it is
- Go in the spirng and later winter. Use a jig man and you will catch hogs for sure.
- Absolutely! The very best time to go for ol' bucketmouth is whenever you can get to the water. I myself live up by Chicago and the water here is pretty hard this time of year. When I do get the opportunity to go, my lure of choice is a Big Old 10" Black, Black/Blue Berkeley worm, laced onto a size 5 Mister Twister hook, rigged Texas style or barebacked and tossed just about anywhere water will hold bass, leave it set there for a few minutes before you twitch the line with your finger, or working the lure in any number ways that will aggravate 'em enough to attack it. The principal of "the bigger the bait, the bigger the reward" has worked very well for me, in addition to catching more fish p/hr in the evening and at night throughout the spring and summer months into the fall sometimes, depending on the weather. Goodluck & Goodfishing
- i live in south Florida & catch bass, year round. the best time to catch bedding fish, is from December through March, in areas where the water temp, is between 58 & 70 degrees. i fish with plastic worms & lizzards, top water baits & shallow divers, as well as live shiners. bass, like structure, when & where they can find it,
- right now is when you fish in florida they are spawning
- when i fish for them i fish in the summer and i have tried to fish in the winter but i did not catch anything and i catch fish most of the time when i go.
- For the biggest bass fish from December throught March. I prefer using a jig'n'pig. Good Luck. and www.bassresource.com is a good website.
- in the spring! 2 weeks ago i caught two bass on a spinnerbait yellow, yellow and chartruse, red and white, or just white are the best colors.
- It really depends on the fishing you plan to do or the fishing you like to do. If you enjoy pulling a carolina or texas rig on the bottom slowly, this is good when the fish dont want to move to catch their prey. But if you like to do your fishing with top water baits and fast moving crankbaits, i would prefer to fish in the hotter months of the year, they are off of the bottom of deep canals, and they are in the lily pads at about 1 to 3 feet. Structure is always a good thing also.
- i live in ga, and the best time to bass fish is the month of april.
- Yea,The best time of the year to fish ,is only on days that end in " y". And if you can go with out your wife, girlfriend or mother always makes for a better time! Also if you go in somebody else's boat. And they buy the gas, beer, bait, food, and weed and use there truck . And of course if it's not raining or colder than a well diggers ASS in Alaska,It's a pretty bet you will have a great fishing trip! And if not, luckly you will be so drunk you won't care if you catch a fish or not. But that's just my opinion.............lakeforktx321
- yes when they are bedding is the best time. In Ky this is during May on large lakes, and earlier in smaller, shallower bodies of water because they heat up earlier. Your local sporting goods store or a guide should be able to tell you what time of the year to expect that. If memory serves me correctly, that would be Mid to late March in your area.
