How do i find a job on a California deep sea fishing boat, without all the web b.s. of so called job web sites

It doesn't matter what kind of boat or fishing,I just want in the buss. Any direction will help.

1. Go to the docks when they're not busy (not at 5 am when they're preparing to head out) and get a hold of the captains. You'll start bu swabing decks. You'll have a good chance if you are young, passionate about the sport, strong, have experience, few ties to dry land and like to get stinky. It's fabulous. Good luck!
