where can i get a fishing license in general?
I live in Sacramento, CA. is there different fishing licenses or are all the fishing licenses the same? I just want to fish in rivers.

- The walmart.
- A local gas station, or a Wal-Mart any of those will do.
- You just need a State of California fishing licsense, unless they have special regulations for the fish you are after, that might require you to buy a specific stamp for those fish(Like a Trout stamp). You can usually pick one up at any Sporting Goods store like Dick's or Sports Authority.
- Walmart, sporting goods section sells fishing licenses, any sporting goods store, like Dick's should sell them as well. Or any bait shop should sell them.
- your local bait store should sell you a general fishing license. i live in PA so i dont know how much $ it will cost you but it costs about $11 here.
