do i have to have a license to fish salt water, im 66, in florida?

- Its a good idea to, my dad always gotten one, but we were never challenged by anyone to show a license either. Its your call, I don't think they ever check for licenses. but dont come crying to me if you get busted either.
- when I'm 66 I'll do whatever i want w/out a license : ) last i knew some states were adopting salt water licensing which is absurd when offshore commercial foreign fishing is legal
- No you don't, when you turn 65 you can get a resident senior citizen hunting & fishing certificate at the local courthouse that is good for the rest of your life. Absolutely FREE
- I don't know about Florida, but in MD you only need one between 16 and 65 years old. Come on up and take a charter out on the Chesapeake for some Maryland Rockfish!
