Ft. Lauderdale fishing hot spots?
My husband and his relatives are going to visit Florida in a couple weeks, Ft. Lauderdale to name one city in particular. They would like to hit some nice fishing (any ocean life) spots, preferably piers, but I know some places do not let you. Also, price of fishing license? Just wondering if any locals down there could help me out!!!

- In the ocean fishing from land or pier you do not need a license.Pompano pier is good more in the early evening or early morning but at times is crowded.Dania pier is o.k the same times with less people. If you really want a good time go out on the Mary B party boat in the evening 25 dollars from 7pm to 11pm and this is located at the east side of los olas bridge turn right and you are there.Take your own poles and ask for silversides for bait or they give you poles to use for free. You can check the sun sentinel web page for the fishing report every friday.T.J from boca raton
