What kind of kayak and equipment would i need to fish in the galveston, TX area?

im a novice kayaker and 15 years old and need help tring to buy a kayak

1. buy something cheap for a 100 something dollars you don't need a top of the line Kayak unless you have the money to buy one. lol you can even buy inflatable Kayak's if you want to as well.
2. I would reccoment a 9 foot recreational kayak either by Liquid Logic or Perception. Reason beaing that they are not expensive at all, and can be used for many things including fishing, they are stable and easy to paddle. Just no oceans or fast moving rivers. Can fnid one for about 300-400 bucks. Good luck dude
