When is the best time of year for croppie/crappie fishing in Missouri?

1. Many fishermen think the spring spawning time is the best time to fish for crappie. It certainly is a good time, but I prefer September and October. There are fewer people on the water and the crappie bite like crazy. Actually, I think anytime you can get on the water is a good time to fish for crappie! Good luck.
