I am going on a fishing trip to lake thurmond In georgia soon and was looking for a few good crappie hot spots

If you have a water thermometer, firn depth where temp changes to 68 degrees. The crappie still have not headed to shallow water yet to bed. Right now, you still need to look for deep water structure. I live on Lake Sinclair, I am sure Thurmond can't be much diff. Sorry I can't point you to specific holes. good luck
