How long will crappie fish stay good if frozen in the freezer?

1. well if it's crappie to begin with.... Just kidding. I believe any fish frozen and wrapped properly has about 3 good months, before it starts getting really crappy.
2. I freeze the crappie we catch in the summer and eat it all winter long...Freezer burn is your biggest enemy with fish. If you vacuum sealed it, it will last longer - I love my vacuum packer for our fresh caught fish!
