- R U kidding... if thats your pic then your HOT and for the world i can't figure why the hell he's even going fishing!
- Get him a Shakespeare Ugly Stik. I have one and it works great. U dont need to spend a lot to get a good pole. I paid $35 for mine and its a perfectly good pole. Especially for freshwater fishing u dont need an expensive pole.
- what a nice wife you are! the ugly stick is a good one.
- Get him a 7 foot Allstar medium/heavy rod. He'll love it. Excellent for bass, catfish, and if he wants reds on the coast. P.S. I know all about the kids breaking rods. It's like they have broken your heart.
- if your really willing to spend high dollar for a pole, g loomis is your best bet. lightweight, sensitive and dependable. uglysticks are good but heavy. the new rino rods are like an ugly stick but much lighter.affordable to.if you want a good all around rod, get a medium or medium/heavy action with a fast tip
- You can find a really good Ugly Stick for about $50 and spend the rest on a nice reel.
- you dont need to spend that much. just get him a pole that can withstand around 60 to 70 pounds of pressure. they dont cost much either look at bass pro for something like that
- get him a gift certificate to a fishing outfitter
