What criteria should I consider when searching for a used fishing boat?

- Size of the boat and engine to suit your needs.Condition is also very important.
- I would buy the biggest boat possible then slowly customize to your own neeeds
- Does it float? *L* Sorry. The criteria depends on what you are PRIMARILY going to use the boat for? Skiing, fishing, partying, etc. Then, length, weight, strorage location, engine size, etc.
- The biggest number you are interested in is: H.O.W. (Hours On the Water) You'll usually see or hear adds referring to a boat that has 1500 hours. With an average "day on the water" being about 6 hours, you get an idea how much it was actually used, since there is no mileage!
