Fishing Q&A

New to Houston area. Could use some info on fishing and boating.?

I am just about to purchase a 20' center console type fishing boat. Not quite sure which one yet but leaning towards a Century. I have experience fishing for reds, trout, flounder, snook, etc. down in Florida and want some of the same type of fishing here. The problem is, I have no idea where to go or even where to launch a boat once I get it. Is there a website that I'm not finding or a message board maybe on saltwater fishing and boating in the Houston/Galveston area? I'm considering going on a charter just to see where they take me but there's got to be a better and hopefully cheaper way to find out some of the best spots for boat launching, boat storage, and good fishing. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
