Interpret my dream? Fishing?!?
I had a strange dream last night. For background information, I am a heterosexual woman who doesn't fish often, but I did go fishing once this summer with my boyfriend and his dad. Now to the dream details. I was on a very small fishing boat with a woman who was teaching me to fish. She rowed to very shallow waters right by the sand, and we saw a very big reddish fish with sharp teeth and everything. She calmly reached into the water and picked it up, to my amazement. A little while later, I went to meet her at her apartment and she was talking to another woman with long curly red hair. She told me that that woman was the fish she had caught. I was instantly afraid of her, since the fish had been very big and scary, but she smiled at me and was surprisingly pleasant. I woke up very confused. Wize Woman, thanks for your interpretation, but you couldn't be more wrong. The reason I specified that I am heterosexual was exactly to prevent people from analyzing things from a sexual perspective as it seems to be the tendency. I am a spiritual person and I doubt this dream refers to catholicism. I don't think the color red means all that much to be honest, as it happens to be one of my favorite colors- I also said reddish, with an orange tint to be exact. As for the scary sharp teeth on the fish, it struck me as odd that such a big fish was in such shallow waters, and the woman's calmness in picking it up with her bare hands was both shocking and reassuring (as I believe Garden Witch captured). Also I woke up confused at the oddity of the dream, not scared.
