Fishing Q&A

I fish in a small boat that uses an electric motor. If I capsize, can I get electrocuted?

  1. only if the battery is as big as your fish storys no electric motors dont carry enough curent in a large body of water to even shock the fish but watching you capsize would shock them
  2. Well, this is easy. The kind of power used to run the boat is DC power (the same as in a car). Therefore, the battery only puts out a fraction of what it takes for you to feel it. If you want to test before hand, go to your car and touch the - and + terminals with each hand, but if you don't want to test for experienced results, than take my word....NO, you will not be electrocuted.
  3. NO! but you could very well drown. That would be my first worry
