Why do all men have to love motorcyles and sports so much?

I'm 47 and trying to get over my last boyfriend (he only lasted 3 months). Prior to that I was married, but have been divorced for 5 years. I remained celebate for all those 5 years to take care of my son and getting that boyfriend was marvelous..he just turn out to be totally wrong for me in personality! My question is, now I'm checking out internet dating, and the men I feel interested in all usually have pictures of themselves doing sports and sometimes riding motorcyles. I don't have anything distinctly wrong with that, but do they really think that will attract a woman? I'm an athletic woman (I do karate and skeet shooting), but motorcycles scare (they're dangerous) and I don't really want to spend my time fishing, climing mountains, boating, etc. Why is it that so many attractive men want to concentrate on these interests to attract women? Perhaps they don't know that some women can't stand mountain climbing, camping, fishing and motorcycles? Not sure what to do...

1. don't know. my husband likes college football, but not all that cars, motorcycles, etc.
2. Just keep looking. My man has a motorcycle (street bike) and it has turned into his MAIN concern. I don't get it either. I think they believe it is a chic magnet. And I guess it makes them feel like more of a man on it.
3. Well, for whatever it's worth, I'm your age and I feel exactly the same way. I hate motorcycles and I don't like speed or heights either, but I'm active and like to be busy. I've been married now 3 1/2 years, but before that when I would look at the personals, I noticed the same exact thing. Oh yea, and don't forget the fact that most men our age also want women in their 30's or younger....Good luck, I really hope you find someone better soon.
4. Look Lady, Maybe they know that doesn't attract every woman, but if it is what they are interested in, why should they hide it or lie about it? Maybe they need a woman who likes those things? Maybe it isn't their goal to attract... umm .. you.

9. chill!!!...not all women are like you, you know...a lot of them like me really do love adventurous stuff...look guys like sports and cars and stuff because they are "cool" and manly....masculine you know...have you ever seen a bike that is delicate????....how awful it would look...and have you ever wondered how "awful" would delicate women look on these bikes???...see its all according to the personality...have you ever seen a guy who is interested in diamond jwelery???...it sounds so weird right?...just like we like all delicate stuff, they like masculine stuff...so what's wrong in that?...personally i feel it adds extra charm to guys because i have grown up with a brother who was a cars and bikes maniac and with him i too developed a love for these...and don't let such ridiculous things bog you out of a relationship...if you meet a guy who is a sports maniac, just tell him frankly that you don't enjoy being sportive...i am sure if he cares about you, he'll understand... all the best!
10. i find sports and motercycles compleatly exciting.. lol you should date my ex he liked shopping! lol... those things make men compleatly sexy... playing football in the yard, hiking to the top together, night fishing.... awww i love it!
11. there are plenty more adventurous types of women who like men just like that do you honestly think they are trying to narrow down their lifestyles to attract just you ? no... nor do they care... they are who they are and have no problem attracting women.... by design their profiles are meant to attract the type of women who likes a guy like them.. so it's not their fault you may like they way they look, it's your fault for even considering them if you think their activities are going to be an issue.. and how many guys do you think would want a women who skeet shoots? and does karate...very few..... hence why we are all selective in a choice in mates.. and we use filters to root out those who we do not want to be with.. so do not try to make a square peg fit in a circle, it just will not work. quit be self centered and close minded, all those men on those websites are not all for you
12. Look somewhere else...or maybe a dating site more suited to your tastes!! The fact that my guy loves to motorcycle just brought us that much closer together....!!!! We are at our closest having long chats on the bike in the sunsets!!!

14. First of all not all man are into motorcycles and sports. I personally don't care much for motorcycles, but I do like sports, but not am obsessed with it. It all depends on the guy.

So hubby leaves; plays 18 holes; returns home that evening, only to find a cold shoulder and angry wifey-poo. What hubby is confused about is the response wifey made, "O.K?" The problem is that he didn't understand her definition of O.K! You see fellows, O.K! means O.K!, if you go out that door to play a stupide game of 18 holes of hitting a white ball with clubs on my honeymoon in Hawaii, then I will make you pay for it the rest of your Gosh dang-dilly-dang life, MINISTER!!!!!! We need a dictionary, Ladies, please.........
16. Ha ha ha. You and a lot of your answerers crack me up. You know what? You can't even SEE the guys who aren't like that. If they put their hands in front of your face you could still watch the movie. You LIKE guys like that. You only respond to guy-like guys. If a guy isn't like that, he's not a man to you. Guys have to be bad, dangerous, hella good looking, rich, or famous. Anyone else is a 'friend' who can walk your dog for you when you're on a date.

18. First, not all men like motorcycles and/or sports. I never was big on motorcycles and I don't even care about sports. Second, I think it's stupid if a person judges someone based on their interests. I think that people should judge someone based on the kind of person they are.
